Founded in Orange County California in 1992 by lead guitarist, Michael Foote and Zach Southall lead singer and rhythm guitarist, AUTOSUGAR, formerly Killing Lisa was born out of the alternative/punk/metal/grunge movement which spawned so many Southern California bands during the late 80's and 90's.

Touring through the 90's with many infamous So Cal bands, while opening for a hyper-diverse group of artists like The Church, Gwar, Powerman5000, 

led to an uncanny ability for the group to go from playing a hardcore punk rock show one night, to an acoustic set the very next night. 

 

Playing at No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont's club, The Firecracker Lounge, added to the group's reputation for never turning down a gig. AUTOSUGAR just wanted to play... Wherever with whoever.
